Description

A classic antique 9ct gold oval locket from the Edwardian era. This locket is made from 9ct gold back and front which was used a lot in antique lockets. This means that the back and front are gold, where the insides-the hinges and the rims are metal. It was thought that this made the locket more hard wearing and functional. The gold oval locket has different engraving on either side, with intricate scrolled detail. It opens and closes very nicely, and it can hold two photographs, one on either side.

CONDITION: Both sides of the locket are in great condition, some wear inside consistent with age and its function. Opens and closes as it should.
