A wonderful bracelet made during the Egyptian Revival of the 1920s after the tomb of Tutankhamen was discovered. It is made from silver and has 5 oval links, each depicting an Egytian scene in enamel. These links are connected via 5 circular links made of Jet. It is such a striking and intricate piece of jewellery. Fastens with a bolt ring.
MATERIALS: Silver, Jet, Enamel
DIMENSIONS: Approx 7.5 inches long. Sits approx 8mm on the arm. Each oval link is approx 15mm x 8mm.
ERA/HALLMARK: 1920s Egyptian Revival. Stamped on bolt ring but faded. Tested for silver.
CONDITION: very good, all enamel is intact. Slight wear on the back which is to be expected from the age.
