  • MATERIALS:  18ct yellow gold, opal, diamond
  • DIMENSIONS: the entire setting is approx 15mm x 7mm. The middle opal is 7mm x 5mm with the outer two 5mm x 3mm. All measurements are approx.
  • ERA/HALLMARK: Edwardian era. Stamped 18 with Birmingham assay stamp and date letter for 1903. There is also a number of other markings on the inside of the shank, CBB makers mark and some numbers etched also.

  • CONDITION: Excellent condition. Opals are bright with lots of play of colour. Shank is strong, Diamonds set securely.

An antique Edwardian opal and diamond ring set in 18ct yellow gold, This stunning opal ring features three oval opal cabochon stones and six rose cut diamonds. The stones are set flush into the gold in a gypsy style setting and the ring has a pierced gallery. It is a very well made ring with a substantial weight of almost 6g. There is a clear hallmark on the inside of the shank dating the ring to Birmingham 1903, the Edwardian era. It is a beautiful antique piece of jewellery which could be worn as an alternative engagement ring, or dress ring.
