Edwardian 9ct Gold Amethyst Pendant and Chain

Description

A very attractive Edwardian amethyst pendant set in 9ct gold. The pendant is typical of the Edwardian era with its feminine curved design. It features an oval amethyst at the centre and then a smaller round amethyst suspended from the end. It comes on a modern 24 inch 9ct gold chain. The necklace comes beautifully packaged in a faux leather box and luxury gift bag.

MATERIALS: 9ct yellow gold, amethyst

DIMENSIONS: The pendant is 50mm x 25mm, the oval amethyst is 7mm x 5mm and the smaller one is 2mm. All measurements are appprox. Modern chain is 24 inches.

ERA/HALLMARK: Edwardian. Stamped 9ct Gold very clearly and S BROS makers mark.

WEIGHT: 3.28g

CONDITION: In excellent condition, the gold around the oval amethyst seems to be a slightly more yellow gold but this is more noticeable on the photos and not so much in reality.
