- An antique silver locket crafted during the Victorian era. This unique large oval locket features a bird motif with gold application on the front, with the bird having an almost 3D appearance. The back of the locket is perfectly plain except for the hallmark, which dates the piece to Birmingham 1880. It opens from the right side to reveal two compartments to hold photos and closes with an audible click. This antique silver locket comes complete on a 22 inch modern oxidised silver chain, with the bail of the locket big enough to accommodate a thicker chain if so desired. This is a very lovely silver locket from the era of sentimentality, with an eye catching design and size.
