Description
This Edwardian old cut diamond cluster ring is set in 18ct white gold and carries an approximate total diamond weight of 1.3ct. It works beautifully as an antique engagement ring as its classic cluster form suits everyday wear. The old cut diamonds give the ring a soft, lively sparkle, while the floral outline adds refined period character. As April’s birthstone, diamond also makes this piece especially appealing for gifting.
Design & Craftsmanship
The early 20th century ring centres on a larger old cut diamond, which sits within a border of matching old cut stones. Together they form a balanced cluster with a gentle scalloped outline. The white gold setting enhances brightness, while the fine claws allow light to move through the stones. The slim shoulders keep the ring elegant, and the proportions give it presence without feeling bulky.
Why We Love This Ring
We love this antique cluster ring because it feels both special and easy to wear. The cluster design gives strong visual impact, however it still sits neatly on the hand. Old cut diamonds bring a softer look than modern brilliant cuts, so the sparkle feels warm and characterful. It also has the kind of timeless design that stays relevant year after year.
Styling / Versatility
This Edwardian old cut diamond cluster ring suits someone who loves antique jewellery with real presence but wants a piece they can wear often. It works beautifully as an engagement ring, while it also makes a striking dress ring. Because the setting has a classic profile, it pairs well with both tailored and relaxed dressing. It can be worn alone for impact or alongside a simple band.
