A sweet antique gold locket from the Victorian era. This oval locket is 9ct gold back and front, which was a popular technique during this era, whereby the front and back are solid gold, but the inner findings and material are base metal. This tech it was used to make the inside more hard wearing. This antique locket has wonderful heart detail on the front and unusual engraving on the back. It is an intricate Victorian piece and comes complete on an 18 inch long curb link gold chain. Wear everyday on its own or layered with other gold chains and pendants.
