Edwardian Silver Medal Pendant

Description

An original antique silver medal pendant which we have dated to Glasgow 1904. The medal has the letters B B on it which stands for Boys Brigade, which was originally a Christian youth organisation conceived by Scottish businessman Sir William Alexander Smith. The brigade combined fun activities with Christian values and their motto was Sure & Stedfast, which is what it says on the medal. The organisation was started in Glasgow in 1883 and spread across the whole of the UK and is still going today. This medal was most probably won by a boy in an activity. These medals are now popular pieces of jewellery, to hang on a necklace or a watch chain. Its styled with one of our modern oxidised chains, which has have in all sorts of lengths and thickness so please get in touch if you want more details on those. The chain is not included in the price in this listing.

RETURNS: We do accept returns provided they are returned within 28 days from receiving the item. We will issue a full refund minus the shipping cost.

We would appreciate it if you inform us ASAP if you would like to return an item
but you have until 14 days of receipt to inform us. We will provide a return address and this must be returned at the cost of the customer using a fully insured, tracked and signed for service.

The item must be returned exactly as it was sent, unaltered and undamaged and in the original packaging. This must be marked clearly as a return, otherwise we reserve the right to deduct any import charges made to us from the refund.
