Description
This Art Deco jade and diamond bracelet dates to the 1920s/ 1930s and has a distinctive geometric design. Carved green jade panels form the main decorative feature, while small diamonds add brightness across the articulated white gold links. The central jade plaque is larger than the side elements, which gives the bracelet a balanced focal point while retaining the clean symmetry associated with Art Deco jewellery.
Design & Craftsmanship
The bracelet combines carved circular jade panels with openwork white gold links set with diamonds. The central section uses angular, ribbon-like geometry, while the smaller jade panels repeat the colour at either side. Milgrain-style edging and fine bead-set diamonds add texture without overwhelming the design. Meanwhile, the articulated construction allows the bracelet to sit closely and comfortably around the wrist. The contrast between vivid green jade and bright white metal is particularly effective.
Why We Love This Bracelet
This antique bracelet has strong period character but remains very wearable. The carved jade gives it individuality, while the diamonds keep the overall look refined rather than heavy. The geometric construction also feels unmistakably Art Deco. It is the kind of bracelet that works as a statement piece without needing additional jewellery.
How to Style
This Art Deco jade and diamond bracelet will appeal to someone who likes Art Deco jewellery, hand carved jade and distinctive colour combinations. It works beautifully worn alone because the central panel creates a strong focal point. However, it could also sit alongside a slim white gold or diamond bracelet for a layered look. The green jade makes it particularly versatile with neutral clothing, evening wear, richer jewel tones or even bridalwear.
